In 2018-2019, Vietnam witnessed a significant shift in consumer behavior, particularly in mobile device usage, as smartphones became essential tools for everyday life. Shinhan Finance's data revealed that 70% of its website traffic came from mobile devices. This trend, coupled with the rising demand for convenience and speed, drove Shinhan Finance to prioritize optimizing mobile user experiences as a cornerstone strategy. Loan application processes traditionally spanned weeks are now expedited through integrated online credit evaluation. Furthermore, repayment—a critical touchpoint—is made transparent and convenient, with customers gaining full control over timely loan payments directly on the platform.
